Wee Shine Pre-School Information

Arrival and Dismissal
Children must be in the age class for how old they are on August 1. 
3 Year Olds                       Tues and Thurs                   9:00 am to 12:00 noon
4/5 Year Olds                    M, W, F or M-F                    9:00 am to 12:00 noon

Early morning hour is 8:00-8:45 am if you need to drop your child off early. There is a $2.00 a day fee; due that day or charge all days together and pay with the next month's tuition.

Staff/Child Ratios
The number and ages of children we are allowed to accept is reflected on our license. We only accept 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds that have not yet gone to kindergarten. The State of Ohio requires the ratio of staff members to students to be as follows:
   > 1:12 for the 3-year-olds
   > 1:14 for the 4-year-olds
The maximum group size is 24 for the 3-year-old classes and 28 for the 4/5-year-old classes. Because we desire to provide a higher quality of care for your children, Wee Shine also provides adult aides in addition to the teachers in the classrooms.
